Bright Lights, A Gift From Gary Clark Jr.

Gary Clark Jr., 34, for those who haven’t heard of him, is an American rock and soul music from Austin, Texas.

Despite his age, Clark has shared the stage with many legends of rock and roll, including Clapton, B. B. King, Doyle Bramhall II and the Rolling Stones.

I’ve first heard his music through Oana, back in the early summer of 2016. A time of struggle for me, a time of emotional transformation for both of us.  His music is warm, passionate and understanding. At the time, I felt like his sound is listening to me. In my opinion, Gary Clark Jr. is an artist that is renewing its promise to music every single time when he gets up on a stage or inside a recording studio. An interesting career, a great gift to the world of music and a great combo of rock and roll, blues and sometimes even hip-hop.

I leave you now in the company of two great artists,  Garry Clark Jr. and Doyle Bramhall II performing “Bright Lights” at the Crossroads Festival in 2010.
